TT&A advised Genus Power Infrastructures Limited for setting up new platform in Singapore to fund smart metering projects with an affiliate of Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC at an initial commitment of approximately USD 2 billion (Rs 16,000 crore approximately). Post the deal, in the platform, GIC will hold 74% stake while Genus will hold 26% stake.

This represents the largest transaction in the smart metering space in India and positions Genus at the forefront of the smart metering revolution underway in the country .
