Akshay Malhotra is a partner in the Projects, Infrastructure & Energy practice.

He has represented government authorities, sponsors, contractors and lenders engaged in the context of project development, financing, M&A and dispute resolution with an emphasis on public private partnerships. His practice focuses advising clients on project development and implementation in sectors including energy, power, transportation, social infrastructure, and defense procurement. He has also been on secondment to some of the largest Oil & Gas as well as renewable energy companies in India.

Akshay has been recommended for projects and energy by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and recognized as a notable practitioner for project development by IFLR 1000. He was ranked amongst India Super 50 Lawyers by Asian Legal Business and also suggested as a future leader by IFLR Asia Future Leaders.

Prior to joining TT&A in July 2023, Akshay worked with Khaitan & Co. in Delhi.
