Sonam Mathur is a partner in the competition law practice at TT&A which she leads. She has 18 years of professional experience and has regularly advised clients on the full range of competition issues including investigations in cartels and abuse of dominance, merger control transactions (including multi-jurisdictional deals, complex phase II reviews and remedies), leniency/whistle-blower applications as well as competition law audit, training and general compliance. She has acted for clients across various sectors including digital markets, artificial intelligence, media, data centers, e-commerce, retail, pharmaceutical, healthcare, oil and gas, amongst others.

Sonam has experience of representing Indian and multinational clients, as well as senior management and employees, before the Competition Commission of India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, High Courts and the Supreme Court.

She has been consistently ranked by Chambers & Partners, GCR, Legal500, AsiaLaw Profile, IBLJ, Lexology (formerly, Who’s Who Legal) and others. She has also been ranked as one of the top lawyers in Business Today’s ranking of Top 10 Exceptional Antitrust Lawyers Revolutionizing India’s Competition Law and has been recognized as a Thought Leader (Partner) in Competition Law in India by Lexology 2025.
