Sonam Mathur is a partner and the head of the competition law practice at TT&A. Sonam advises on the full range of competition issues including investigations in cartels and abuse of dominance, merger control transactions (including multi-jurisdictional deals, complex phase II reviews and remedies), leniency/whistle-blower applications as well as competition law audit, training and general compliance.

She represents Indian and multinational clients at the Competition Commission of India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, High Courts and the Supreme Court.

Sonam has been consistently ranked by Chambers & Partners, IBLJ, Who’s Who Legal and others. She has also been ranked as one of the top lawyers in Business Today’s ranking of Top 10 Exceptional Antitrust Lawyers Revolutionizing India’s Competition Law in 2023.

Prior to joining TT&A, Sonam has worked at Trilegal and also, as an independent advisor on competition law.
